St. Andrew's Youth

6th through 12th Grade Students

At St. Andrew’s, our youth program is growing, and we are excited to come alongside your students as they grow and deepen their faith. In both small and large group settings, we hope our youth will:
Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference.

Large Group
(Fellowship Hall)
Join us for Sunday Night Youth from 5:25-7pm. Come as early as 5pm to fellowship in the gym or outside the Fellowship Hall with sports and games, then we go straight into Worship led by our students and youth team.
We typically have a small message or service project then we split into groups for breakouts.
This is a great way to get to know more of the youth in our community and church.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." Galatians 5:25

Sunday Morning Experience
Join us Sunday mornings during the 11:00am service for Youth Small Group Gatherings.
The youth check-in before worship in the sanctuary and begin the service with their families and friends.
They are dismissed just before the children's message to break into Small Groups for their specific lessons. Reminder, the 1st Sunday of every month is Family Worship, and all students
stay with their families for the main services.

Retreats, Camps and Missions Trips
At St. Andrew’s we believe that our students should have rich opportunities to grow in their faith,
this is why we will make every effort to produce and provide yearly events.
In 2024 we invite our youth to join us for some amazing things planned.
~ January 12th-14th: Winter Retreat at TBarM
~ June 14th–18th: Summer Camp at Camp Eagle
~July 25th-27th: Motion Conference at Legacy Arena BJCC, Alabama
~ Youth Mission Trip: more information coming soon.
(We also have a few local service opportunities monthly)

8th Grade Confirmation Classes
Confirmation Classes begin in October and are held on Sunday mornings during the 11:00 am service. Confirmation Day is March 3, 2024, during our Family Worship at the 11:00am service. Confirmation is designed to teach, guide, and allow students to take ownership of their faith and make it their own through thought-provoking teaching, discussion, and activities. Our goal is for students to have a deeper understanding of their faith, be able to defend their faith, and deploy their God-given talents and calling into their worlds.

Ministries Partnerships
Our city and the ‘09 have a wonderful community of believers and many people are dedicated to raising up our youth for the Lord. Please join us as we support other ministries in town such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Life, WyldLife, and other organizations. If you want more info on how to find these ministries
and ways to support, please fill out the connection below!

Meet the Argueta Family

Anthony and Kimmi Argueta are high school sweethearts who just welcomed their first child, Teddy, this past February. They have been married for 10 years and were both born and raised near Seattle, Washington. In 2021, they moved to San Antonio to be closer to Kimmi's Mom and Dad. They have dedicated most of their professional careers to youth and young adult ministries, serving in churches and schools.
Anthony has a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry Leadership and a Master's in Education Curriculum. In their spare time, they love to play in recreational sports leagues, try new coffee and food spots, and introduce Teddy to new places around town.

Grace and Blessings,
Anthony Argueta
